Terrace with a breathtaking sea view and a fantastic host

Pros: The highlight of this stay was definitely the massive terrace with an incredible ocean view—it was so relaxing to sit there and watch the sea. The owner is very warm, reliable, and pays great attention to detail, making us feel right at home. The entire place was spotless and very well-organized. Also, the location is perfect as it's very close to the airport, making travel super easy.

That's why we travel

Pros: Host - Jean Pierre - is the winning lottery ticket! Location, rooms, terrace on the top... everything was great. Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)

Our favourite stay in Cabo Verde

Pros: If we knew our experience will be as great, we would definitely book for a longer stay! The village is still so authentic and very safe. We love the warmth, pureness and privacy the JP and his team offer. There is only 3 rooms in the house which allows for the quiet and homy feeling. We were lucky to have the room with the balcony which offers the best possible view. All the furniture and equipment is modern and well taken care of. The water is really warm (not always the case in Cabo Verde). We very much enjoyed the home made breakfasts and dinners. Will miss the very special marmalade, cakes, punch and the chats with the team and the guests we met! We wish you a wonderful stay and hope to be back too!

Good place to stay in Sao Pedro.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Balcony had a great view over Sao Pedro.

Cons: The owner does not speak English, just French. Uses an app to translate though. He is very kind and helpful.

Highly organized host with alot a practical information, who is an excellent cook.

Pros: Excellent host, JeanPierre is very punctual, very friendly, give alot of practical information, being French he is an excellent cook. It is on a walkable distance from the Sao Vicente airport, so you can save yourself this taxi cost.

Cons: My travel book stated that the beach itself has strong currents.

Pros: New, clean. Very friendly and helpful owner. The first room in CV that was actually dark :) good breakfast, great shower!

Cons: Owner only speaks French, but doesn't shy away from Google translating together

Pros: Beautiful location with panoramic view of the beach from the room. We could see the turtles from the balcony. Jean Pierre is a very friendly host, everything is possible. Perfect end or start of a holiday.
