Occidental Boa Vista Beach

Pros: Architecture of the property. The property is directly on the beach, which is beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons: My room was a bit old fashioned in terms of furniture and style.

Value for money

Pros: We are not all inclusive resort people. We though this once has a bit of character in the way it is set up. I liked the surf center with Sydney being great instructor. Good place to do some wave surfing (for beginners).

Cons: The food is acceptable but very middle of the road. The swimming pool is in winter a bit fresh, but doable.

Paradisiacal beach

Pros: Very nice and clean hotel with a good buffet, specially for breakfast. The beach is incredible and probably one of the best in Boa Vista.

Cons: The wifi needs to be improved, there is barely any signal near the hotel's reception (where it is theoretically the strongest) and it doesn't reach the rooms. Also the water's pressure in the shower is not enough.

Perfect Place to spend a relaxing holiday

Pros: The location is perfect. If you are looking for peace this is the place. The hotel is not new but in super good conditions. It is very clean and has all the amenities. The food is also delicious! The best part is the staff that are always nice and ready to help

Pros: The beach is beautiful but unfortunately not swimmable. Good selection of food including ice cream.

Cons: WiFi is not working in rooms and it’s very difficult to get it in common places too. The light in the bathroom didn’t work. Everything is a bit old.

Delicious Food, Amazing View

Pros: The food was fantastic. The view from the room number 204 amazing. Cleaning was very good. The territory of the hotel had everything one needs.

Cons: Unfortunately, the isolation from music was not good: I could not go sleep early.

Fantastic as always we call this our 2nd home.

Pros: We always love coming to this hotel & would stay at no other hotel on Boa Vista. The staff are close friends to us & we would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Cons: Bathrooms are dated & could do with the baths being renewed as that is usually where we have any issues. The rest of the rooms are in need of some sprucing up done to the bottom of the furniture where the water has affected the furniture & the doors as well.

Excellent séjour

Pros: Très beau complexe, certes un peu âgé mais parfaitement entretenu, accueillant. Nous avons pris une suite avec 2 chambres, vaste, agréable, climatisée, avec terrasse et vue sur la mer. La literie est très confortable. Le personnel est très attentif prend soin de vous. Accès direct surveillé à la plage, avec des chaises longues. Les repas sont variés et de qualité, tout le monde y trouve son compte. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Cons: L'équipe d'animation n'est pas au top, ils se donnent du mal mais sont mal formés ou pas très compétents dans l'ensemble. Avec des exceptions naturellement. Le personnel à la réception est très inégal, certains ne parlent pas correctement anglais ni français, allemand ou espagnol, seulement le portugais. à notre arrivée, nous avons eu une interlocutrice qui parlait français, mais très vite en débitant un monologue qui nous a laissés sur notre faim car il était clair qu'elle le faisait pour la 10000e fois et que cela l'ennuyait. Nous avons dîné un soir au restaurant avec service à table, mais il ne vaut pas les repas en self au buffet. Mais ce sont des détails qui ne gâchent pas la bonne impression d'ensemble.

Séjour en famille

Pros: Les chambres avec vue sur mer. La plage privée toute proche avec bar de plage. La gentillesse du personnel. La qualité de l’alimentation. La propreté de l’établissement
