Great place to relax

Pros: The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.

Excellent new hotel and walking base in undiscovered area of Fogo.

Pros: The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.

Pros: Os proprietários são pessoas muito amáveis e disponíveis. Deram-me dicas sobre a ilha e contactos úteis para passeios. O pequeno almoço é muito bom com café, fruta, pão, ovos, leite, iogurte... A cama do quarto é ótima... descansei super bem após os dias longos de passeios. O WC tinha disponibilidade de água quente. O WI-FI funcionou super bem. As funcionárias do restaurante também foram sempre muito atenciosas. Voltaria a ficar neste hotel, com certeza.

Cons: Acesso escasso de transportes nesta parte da ilha. Mas tive sempre sorte e apanhei boleia várias vezes (uma forma comum e segura de se viajar nesta ilha).

Pros: Toni est très gentil et serviable, la vue est magnifique.

Cons: L'hôtel a ouvert il n'y a pas si longtemps, et il reste des travaux à finir, ce qui peut occasionner du bruit. De plus la piscine n'était pas en service lors de ma venue. Enfin, il faudrait apporter un peu de déco pour donner un peu plus de charme à l'établissement ! J'espère que tout cela va se régler rapidement...

Terrific value with incredible hosts and great food!

Pros: Maria and Tony are the most amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make my time in Fogo easy and special and I am so grateful! Also, the food at their hotel is DELICIOUS, the internet worked quite well, and the town of Cova Figuera is a very friendly place. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend this hotel as an excellent value!

Pros: Très bel hôtel moderne avec une belle vue sur la mer. Le personnel est sympathique et fait de son mieux pour rendre le séjour agréable. Possibilité de faire une belle randonnée à pied vers le cratère du volcan.
